Atomfall Review
Atomfall is set five years after the Windscale disaster, inside a fictional quarantine zone in Northern England. Weapons and ammunition are scarce, so combat balances marksmanship against heart rate and a cricket bat. Scavenging, crafting and bartering fill the gaps between fights, and conversation can resolve some trouble. Played solo on Xbox or PC, it leans on a dense mystery with consequences, and the setting stays bleak throughout.
