Black Jacket Review
Black Jacket is a single-player rogue-lite where each run is a string of Blackjack hands against souls in the afterlife. Cards bend the rules: some swap hands, raise or lower values, or let you peek at a deck. Artifacts, Card Suits and Curses add further edges. Opponents appear only as hands, so their playstyle must be learned. Everything stays at the card table, with no other kinds of play. It is included with Game Pass.
How To Play?
Bet against each soul to win the coin needed for the ferryman
Stack your deck with powerful cards that bend the rules
Swap cards or change values to push an opponent into overcommitting
Collect Artifacts, Card Suits and Curses for an edge in later hands
Study each opponent's playstyle and curses to read their hands
