A squad of up to 12 Cookies means the real work happens before a fight, in how elements, roles and skill combos are paired. Battles run automatically, even while the app is closed, and returning players collect the stored upgrade resources. A roster of 70+ heroes and pets feeds the Arena PvP ladder, the Plaque Tower floors and boss fights, plus Guild buffs. Most of the combat plays itself. It suits people who prefer planning a lineup to timing taps.
