Live war with up to 80,000 other leaders shares a single continent, so the game needs a steady connection. Cities are built from scratch, and commanders such as Cao Cao, Caesar and Joan of Arc lead the troops. The Expedition mode is a PvE training ground with set stages that pay out experience, resources and speed-up items. Ambushes and flanking maneuvers decide field battles, and alliances matter for sieges. Start with the Expedition stages to learn troop assignments before entering open war.
