A boss fight starts with a chain of combo inputs, a slide to close the gap and a skill from an extended slot. Controls were rebuilt for touch screens, and every character brings its own skills and weapons. Season 4 adds the Archer class in two forms, the buff-giving Muse and the airborne bow user Traveler, plus a raid against the builder Luke. Dot graphics keep the look of the original arcade-style series. Fights stay on a side-scrolling plane, so there is little room for exploration.
