Monsters have overrun the kingdom, and a single castle is all that stands against them. Play splits into gate runs, slash combat and base building. In the gate runs you steer left or right to add soldiers and firepower before a boss waits at the finish. Heroes such as knights and mages form your lineup, and alliances share a continent. The hero roster mixes many types, so lineup choices matter early.
