Battles in War and Magic: Kingdom Reborn are fought on a chessboard, and every step you take with your heroes and soldiers counts. Heroes are matched with soldiers from dozens of races, and the chosen formation changes how a fight plays out. Between battles, a lord collects resources, constructs buildings, researches techs and trains troops. Alliances with players from other states are needed to compete for the throne.
