FINAL FANTASY VIII Remastered Review
The first practical question is difficulty, and this remaster answers it with options. Battle assist boosts HP, the ATB gauge and Limit Breaks, game speed can run at x3, and random encounters can be switched off. Play is single player as Squall, a SeeD mercenary, who joins the resistance fighter Rinoa against Galbadia and the sorceress Edea. It runs on both iOS and PS4. Turn off encounters when you only want the story.
How To Play?
Lead Squall and the SeeD mercenaries through the war
Turn on battle assist to boost HP, ATB and Limit Break
Speed up the game to x3 during long stretches
Switch off random encounters to move straight through the story
