Track surfaces change how every vehicle handles, and grass and sand are only the start, so the garage choice matters more than in a plain tarmac racer. Motorbikes, ATVs and Monster Trucks each have their own racing style, and a skill tree upgrades them. Jumps and a Lateral Dash let you bump rivals or find shortcuts. Online play is cross-platform on Xbox and PC. The story campaign is one fixed plot about saving a city from creatures, so replay value rests on the Track Editor and Livery Editor.
