Combat in NINJA GAIDEN 2 Black rests on fast, close-range fighting with a wide weapon set, including Japanese swords, shurikens, Kusari-gamas and tonfas. That suits players who want quick reflexes tested, though Hero Play Style gives automatic support in hard moments for newcomers. Momiji, Ayane and Rachel are playable alongside Ryu Hayabusa, and the Unreal Engine 5 visuals reach 4K/120fps on Xbox Series X and PC, but not on Series S. It is single player only, and it is included with Game Pass.
