Keyboard and mouse are not supported, so PC play needs an Xbox controller or an equivalent one. Past that, the game gives each pup a power: Chase has Super Speed, Marshall has Mighty Heat and Skye has Whirlwind Power. The town is open to explore, with Jake's resort and Tracker's jungle among the places to reach. A second player can join locally in 2-player co-op. That makes it a sensible fit for a parent and child sharing one screen.
