Plants vs. Zombies™ Garden Warfare 2 lets you fight for either the plants or the zombies, and each side has its own characters. That choice suits shooter players who like swapping teams and trying new roles. Matches hold up to 24 players online, with 4-player co-op and split-screen against computer-controlled opponents also on the menu. The Backyard Battleground hub adds daily quests for up to four friends, and it is included with Game Pass on Xbox. Anyone wanting a serious single-player campaign will find little here.
