Ryan's Rescue Squad Review
Local two-player mode decides how this platformer is best played, since a second person can join on the same screen. It suits pairs sharing a couch, a parent and child for instance, who want to jump through the Toys, Pirates, Space and Prehistoric worlds together. Collected Sun Coins and Surprise Eggs unlock hats and costumes in the shop, and Gill's Barrels or Peck's Slime stun enemies. Online play is not part of it. Anyone wanting deep combat or long campaigns will find the platforming and minigames fairly simple.
