Trials of Mana Review
Eight monsters of destruction, the Benevodons, sit sealed inside eight Mana Stones at the start of this role-playing game. That number frames the plot, since evil forces want the seals broken and a war is already under way. Mana is fading and the Mana Tree is withering, which gives the story its clock. It plays solo on iOS and PS4. Nothing about combat, party size or controls is known here, so those remain open questions.
