Vanishing Starlight Review
You play Yan, a death-row prisoner with no memory who escapes the hanging kingdom alongside a companion named Bumian. The world fuses cyberpunk visuals with the Classic of Mountains and Seas, ruled by a tyrannical chief god. Play follows the metroidvania pattern: you start without abilities, then unlock new ones and revisit old areas to open fresh paths. Three armor forms each carry their own weapon and stat focus, and switching between them is instant mid-fight. This PS5 release is single player only, with no co-op or online modes.
