The action is real-time: you slash and dodge through monster swarms, then clear them with a special move. Adventure skills appear at random and reset every stage, so each run builds differently. Between runs, a job system with unlockable job panels strengthens the party. Multi-quests allow up to four players, and the story follows a machine called Mal through dungeons called rifts. Android needs a 64-bit device with Snapdragon 855 or better and 6 GB of memory, so older phones are out. It suits fans of short roguelite runs who want Dragon Quest characters.
